Hey, I have a fashion question for all of you. In general I tend to like bright colors, stripes, funky patterns, etc., so I showed these two men's shirts to my wife (they're for sale on EddieBauer.com), but she said that only a gay guy would wear such a thing and that paisleys are strictly for women. What do you think? I need your advice. Is it OK for a man to wear paisleys these days? Would it turn you on or freak you out if you saw me wearing one of these shirts? i like the blue one.
the red...eh, not so much.
SN has impeccable taste.
The huge paisley print? Maybe, 40 years ago it was cool...(maybe)...but it doesn't even fit with the whole retro look now.
Just my opinion...
But I do applaud your boldness.
The blue one has just the right amount of funkyness to appeal to me...& it doesn't SCREAM...like the red one.
The blue one is acceptable, but the bottom one is too loud for me.
Thanks everyone for your comments, including those of you who emailed me. Clearly the orange one is not a favorite, although one girl said she thought I could make it work. But even the blue one has gotten mixed reviews. So I'm thinking perhaps I should stick with something a bit more traditional for now. Fact is, if it's not a "fuck me" shirt, and clearly neither of these two are, what's the point, right?
